Who is Richard L. Uggen?

Army Veteran, Teacher, Factory Worker, Cook, Janitor, Union Member, Coach, and Volunteer

After retiring from 23 years of military service and 12 years teaching in the public school system, I decided it is time to stop complaining about the poor leadership in our federal government.

Career politicians and billionaires are out of touch with the real world.

Its time for average ordinary working class citizens to show our politicians how the rest of the country manages a household budget on a fixed income.

MY VALUES

It is time for average everyday working class American citizens to step up and take their place in the halls of congress and in the White House... To better represent average everyday working class American families.

I am committed to a future where the civic duty of the office of the President of the United States leads to real progress; a vision of progress that transcends beyond the next election cycle. The values below are the foundation of every action I will take to build a long term blueprint for a more prosperous United States of America and build an equitable society for generations to come.

NOBODY for PRESIDENT

INTEGRITY

I will be transparent and honest in every decision I make. I will take responsibility for my actions and ensure our government's actions reflect our words.

An industrial scene from an automotive assembly line. The factory appears white and very clean with large yellow robot arms lined up to add parts as the car chassis moves down the line.
PROGRESS

I will use the power of this office to drive innovation and forward-thinking in our national policies that will empower every State to be competitive and prosperous in a rapidly changing world.

A diverse group of people standing in a circle with arms outstretched in a unified manner. Each hand is over the hand of another. Only their arms and hands are shown in the frame of the photo.
COOPERATION

I will rebuild our foreign relationships, partnerships and alliances; and promote a domestic national culture of diversity and tollerance where all voices can be heard.

JUSTICE

I will uphold the constitution and hold our federal offices accountable for their actions. I will advocate for fair and equal  representation in our Congress and promote a government  culture that provides equitable opportunities for all citizens.

American flags lined up in rows. Each row appears to have six or more flags.
SERVICE

I will put the needs of the nation first before my own.  I will be relentless in my position that  our government's actions and policies must benefit working class families.

A political setting with two people shaking hands as though coming to an agreement. Only the hands and wrist are shown. In the background there is a blurred image of what looks like the seal of the president of the united states.
ACTION

I will turn vision into reality with clear decisive leadership and guidance by leveraging the nonpartisan energy of our congress.

My Vision for the United States of America

I envision a nation where civic engagement serves as the bedrock of every state. This path relies on the principle of prioritizing working class families. I am dedicated to enacting decisive policies that amplify every citizen's voice and expand their access to financial independence. By working as one indivisible nation, we will reestablish our path towards living out the true meaning of our creed through equality, honor, respect, safety and security for all.
